What is a really good cover up?

What is a thick cover up that can cover a mole but doesn't get all cakey looking and grimey? I use the thickest kind they have at the clinique counter and it looks ok from far away but up close it just looks pretty nasty in my opinion. The mole is on my face, so it's kind of important that i get the perfect cover up.
