Is it OK to use my air conditioner when the filter for the heater isn't clean?
I'm pretty sure I need to clean the filter in my plug-in air conditioner/heater since every time I use my heater lately it's been getting muggy and humid in the room and smells bad. But I don't know how to clean it and I'm only in my place for a short while longer. Is it OK to use the air conditioner when the heater seems to be broken like this?
you can use it to a certain point, and that point is when your evaporator coils (the ones inside the house) start freezing up because little to no air is circulating past them.
