My portable air conditioner only puts out 60-65 degrees at vent?

I have a Roam-air ARP-850 portable air conditioner. It's about 5 years old. Well it didn't seem to be cooling that much so I used a thermometer to measure the temperature of the cold air coming out of it, and it was about 60-65 degrees only. You can get as low as 50 degrees if you measure in a particular spot. The room is about 85 degrees and long story short this thing doesn't seem to be cooling much, even though it creates a ton of water by way of its dehumidifier function (I have to empty a bucket every 6 hours). Is it broken already?

When you start to cool an area, any air conditioner must first remove humidity to below the dew point before it will really start to lower air temperature. This is physics. If your room has high humidity, most of the cooling capacity will just condense water. As the humidity drops, more of the cooling capacity will go to cool the air. Since you are removing a lot of water, it is not broken. Do what you can to seal the room so more outside humid air does not enter and let the unit run continuously to try to dry the room. 20 degrees of drop is not unusual for a unit that is undersized for the application.
