A/C Heater blowing tru defrost vents only after ignition coil repairs?
After getting ingnition coil & ELM replaced & reprogrammed by my mechanic, my A/C/Heater is blowing tru defrost vent only,any ideas why? It was blowing fine through out all vents prior to this work being done. Mechanics state any work they have done has no relations to this problem, but wouldn't they have messed with dash board when working on ignition coil & computer reprogramming? Some one help, I have spent over 700 dollars, and don't want to get screwed over anymore if mechanic failed to reconnect vacuum line. Is that possible?

Not only possible, but likely. The vacuum line is small and easy to overlook, and the vacuum leak it generates will be small enough for the computer to overcome so you will not know about it unless you have that problem. The vacuum line is a black plastic line with a somewhat larger rubber connector on it. It plugs into a round black plastic vacuum bottle, usually found at the passengers side of the firewall in the engine compartment; the line is probably dangling right next to the bottle. Just slip it back on and you will be okay. Lastly, if the shop you used won't even look at something this easy after having done that work for you, then you may want to look for another shop.
