Gas Furances...Which ones are better?
I have to replace an old Lennox 75000 BTU 80% efficency gas furnace. It lasted 34 years! However, I won't go with Lennox. I am considering RUUD, RHEEM (same manufacturer), Carrier, Payne and Trane. Ruud is the most affordable but I am worried-is not the most popular brand. If anyone wants to share their experiences with these brands to help me decide, I will be very grateful.

Weil Mclain make today's most reliable boilers at a fair price. I just replaced my unit two years ago with a Weil Mclain. They guy who did the job said they were the best and he was 75 years old at the time and been in the business since his teens. I also work in the maintenance industry and these guys I work with say Weil Mclain is today's best.
Word to the wise... do not buy the most cutting edge efficient gas furnace that has been out only for a few years. Buy an efficient one that has been around a while. You don't want your furnace breaking in the middle of winter when you need it the most just so you can have a 94% efficient unit instead of a 87% efficient unit.
