Should the bulk of the mini-split ac refrigerant line be inside or outside?
I am to install a new 9,000 BTU Ductless Single Zone Mini-Split Wall-Mounted Cool Only Air Conditioner. I live in the hot Dallas area. Should the 15ft of refrigerant line connecting the outside unit to the inside unit be placed mostly inside or outside? Thanks!
The small section of copper line inside the indoor unit sticks through the wall and connects to the 15' of line set, so the excess is on the outside. If you search UTube you can find a bunch of installation videos. The installation instructions that come with thes units are terrible.
